Flair Place

Cookies policy

Last updated 28 July 2026

Short version: we store no personal data on your device. What is there is the list of roles you saved, your light or dark preference, and — if you are signed in to the CMS — a session cookie. Analytics is anonymous and stores nothing at all.

1What we store to make the site work

Two small values are saved by your browser’s local storage. They are not cookies: they are never attached to requests and never reach our servers. They stay on the device until you clear them.

NameWhat it isSet whenLasts
flair:favsThe list of roles you have saved, stored as their web addressesYou press Save on a roleUntil you clear it
flair:themeWhether you chose the light or dark appearanceYou use the theme toggleUntil you clear it
Because these live only in your browser, saved roles do not follow you to another device or another browser, and clearing your browsing data will remove them. That is a deliberate trade — it is what lets the feature work without an account.

One cookie exists on the site, and it is not set for visitors: signing in to the CMS sets a session cookie so an administrator stays signed in between pages. If you have never signed in, you have never been sent one.

2Analytics

We use analytics to understand how the site is being used — which pages are visited, how people arrive, and which listings get attention — so we can decide what to work on next. We use it to measure the site, not to build a profile of you, and we do not sell it or share it for anyone else’s advertising.

ProviderWhat it setsPurposeLasts
Plausible AnalyticsNone — it sets no cookies and uses no browser storagePage views, the referring site, country, device type and browser — aggregated, never linked to an individual24 months
This is why there is no cookie banner. Plausible sets no cookie and writes nothing to your device, so there is no storage to ask you about. It counts page views, not people: no identifier, no profile, and nothing that follows you to another site. It is hosted in the EU.

The rules that make banners necessary — PECR in the UK, the ePrivacy Directive in the EU — are about storing or reading things on your device. Analytics that stores nothing has nothing for them to bite on, and the saved roles and theme below are there because you pressed Save or the theme toggle, which is the exemption for storage a visitor has asked for. So we do not ask, because there would be only one possible answer.

3Advertising

We do not run advertising on Flair Place, and we do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. Promoted listings are paid for by the company posting the role and are marked as such on the board; they involve no tracking of you at all.

4Fonts

Our typefaces are served from our own domain, so loading a page makes no request to Google Fonts or any other font host.

5Clearing what's stored

You can remove everything above from your browser settings — usually under privacy, then site data — by clearing data for this site. In most browsers you can also block storage for a site entirely; the site will keep working, but saved roles and your theme choice will not persist.

There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing here identifies you. If you would rather the site stored nothing at all, blocking storage for it in your browser settings works — the site keeps functioning, it simply forgets your saved roles and theme between visits.

6More information

Server logs, submissions, and the data of people shown on listings are covered in the privacy policy. Questions about either can go to info@flair.place.
