Flair Place

Terms & conditions

Last updated 28 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Flair Place. They are written to be read, not to be skimmed past — the sections that actually affect you are submitting a job, promoted listings, and our liability.

By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

1Who we are

Flair.Place is operated by Play&Work Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16322543, with its registered office at 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.

Flair.Place is an independent, editorially curated index of design and technology roles. We are not the employer for any role listed here, and we are not a recruiter.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company, trading as Flair.Place. “You” means you, whether you are browsing roles or submitting one.

You can reach us at info@flair.place.

2What Flair Place is — and what it isn't

Flair Place is an editorially curated list of design and technology roles. We select what appears, and we publish information supplied by the companies hiring, by people who submit roles, and by our own research.

We are not a recruiter or an employment agency.We do not introduce candidates to employers, negotiate on anyone’s behalf, handle applications, or take any fee from anyone who is hired. When you apply for a role you leave our site and deal directly with the employer. We are not a party to your application, your interview, or any contract of employment that follows.

We do not verify employers, confirm that a role is genuine, or check that a salary, location, or benefit described in a listing is accurate. Listings can also go out of date without our knowing. Treat what you read here as a starting point for your own research.

3Using the site

You may browse, search, save roles, and share links to them freely. You may not:

  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract listings, images, or the details of people shown on the site, whether manually or by automated means;
  • use the site or anything on it to build or train a dataset, model, or competing product;
  • submit anything you know to be false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful;
  • upload malware, or attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
  • misrepresent who you are or who you are acting for;
  • use contact details or personal information taken from the site to send unsolicited messages.

Saved roles are stored in your own browser and never reach our servers, so they are tied to the device and browser you saved them in. Clearing your browser storage clears them.

4Submitting a job

Anyone can submit a role. Submitting one is a request, not a booking — nothing appears on the site until we have reviewed it and chosen to publish it.

When you submit a role, you confirm that:

  • you are authorised by the hiring company to submit it;
  • the role is genuine and currently open;
  • the information you give us is accurate and not misleading, including anything said about pay, location, and seniority;
  • the listing complies with applicable law, including equality and non-discrimination law, and does not exclude or deter applicants on the basis of a protected characteristic;
  • you have the right to share any link or document you send us, and it contains nothing confidential that you are not permitted to disclose;
  • for each person you ask us to feature (up to 3 per role), you have their agreement to be shown on the listing, and the links you provide are to their own public professional profiles.

You keep ownership of everything you send us. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, edit, adapt, translate, and publish that content on Flair Place and in our own promotional channels for as long as the listing is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in our archive. You can withdraw this by asking us to remove the listing.

We edit for length, clarity, and house style. We may decline any submission, and we may remove any listing at any time, without giving a reason. Being able to submit does not entitle you to be published.

5Automated screening

We run automated checks on links and attachments that are submitted, and we use automated tools to read submissions and flag possible recruitment fraud. Every submission is then reviewed by a person before anything is published.

These checks are a filter, not a guarantee. They can miss things, and they can flag things that are perfectly legitimate. We do not warrant that any listing, link, document, or employer on the site is safe, genuine, or trustworthy, and you remain responsible for your own judgement — particularly before sending anyone money, identity documents, or bank details. No genuine employer will ask you to pay to be hired.

8Intellectual property

The site, its design, its wordmark, and the way the listings are compiled and presented belong to us or are licensed to us. You may not copy or reuse them beyond ordinary personal browsing and linking.

Company logos and photographs of individuals remain the property of their respective owners and are shown for identification and editorial purposes. If you own rights in something published here and object to its use, contact us and we will take it down while we look into it.

9Availability

We do not promise the site will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it, including individual listings, at any time, and we may do so without notice.

10Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Subject to that:

  • we are not liable for any loss arising from your dealings with an employer, a recruiter, or anyone else you find through the site, including losses caused by fraudulent listings that our screening did not catch;
  • we are not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data;
  • our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £100.

11Your liability to us

If you submit a role, you agree to cover the losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees we incur from any third-party claim arising out of what you submitted — for example a claim that it infringed someone’s rights, misused someone’s personal information, or was unlawful. This does not apply to the extent the claim arises from our own changes to your content.

12Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the site, and remove anything you have submitted, if you breach these terms or if we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. Where we have taken payment for a promotion that we then cancel for these reasons, section 6 governs whether a refund is due.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes affecting paid promotions already booked, we will apply the version that was in force when you booked.

14Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home country.

15General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to do so later. These terms are between you and us — nobody else can enforce them.
